Agrupamento de Escolas Coelho e Castro

The “Coelho e Castro School Grouping” (AECC) is an institution of elementary and secondary education whose pedagogical area includes the parishes of Fiães and Caldas de S. Jorge for elementary education and the parishes of Fiães, Sanguedo, Caldas de S. Jorge, Lobão, Guisande, Gião, Louredo, Vila Maior, Canedo, Vale and Lomba (all situated in the northern part of the municipality of S.ta M.a da Feira) for secondary education.

It is the mission of our grouping to offer an educational service that allows for the formation of intellectually active and autonomous citizens. It is also our mission to form cooperative, responsible and honest people. In order to achieve that, we have developed diversified courses – both elementary and secondary levels – able to respond to the motivational interests of young people and adults in our community.
