Get to know the SME Leader 2023 of Santa Maria da Feira!
The PME Leader status is a reputation seal created by IAPMEI to distinguish the merit of national SMEs with superior performance. It is awarded in partnership with Turismo de Portugal (in the case of companies in the Tourism sector), a set of partner banks and the Group Banco Português de Fomento, based on the best rating scores and economic-financial indicators.
The status of PME Leader, in the district of Aveiro, was awarded to 1086 companies, of which more than two hundred are based in the municipality of Santa Maria da Feira. Of the 202 companies in total, 149 saw their status renewed and 53 represent new memberships.
The group of award-winning companies from Santa Maria da Feira obtained more than one billion euros in turnover and another three hundred thousand euros in terms of exports. As for sectoral distribution, it was once again led by Industry, followed by Commerce and Construction.
