Municipal Economic Agenda – August and September 2026
Within the scope of the annual activity planning and competencies of the Economic Development Unit, we hereby present the Municipal Economic Agenda for the months of August and September.
This document summarizes the initiatives planned for this period, highlighting actions to boost the economy, promote business, support investment and enhance the strategic sectors of the municipality.
During these months, two events with a strong impact on the revitalization of our municipality are particularly relevant. Until August 9, the Medieval Journey continues, an internationally renowned historical reenactment that promotes cultural immersion in the Middle Ages and attracts thousands of visitors. On the 15 and 16, Porto Carvoeiro welcomes the return of "Há Festa na Aldeia" (There's a Party in the Village), an initiative promoted by Adritem, within the scope of the Aldeias de Portugal (Villages of Portugal) project, in partnership with the Santa Maria da Feira City Council.
This edition is inspired by elements of local identity: from coal, which evokes the very history of Porto Carvoeiro, to flowers, which symbolize nature and the hospitality of a community ready to welcome visitors, families and investors. Both events provide moments of entertainment, gastronomy and activities for all ages, directly contributing to the promotion of local commerce, community involvement and the fulfillment of strategic priorities defined for the economic development of the territory.
August evokes the holiday period, inviting rest, family time and the necessary renewal of energy for the challenges of the following months. Enjoy this period, have fun and experience the best that our municipality has to offer!
