“YOU CAN'T DISREGARD THE DIGITAL WORLD”

Cervejaria Norte has been operating in the Historic Center of Santa Maria da Feira since 2016. It is a relaxed and young business environment, dedicated to restaurants, cafeteria and bars, which participated in one of ACEPI's training actions on the presence of micro-businesses and small companies on online platforms.

Simão Mateus, the managing partner, confesses the enthusiasm that surrounded this participation in the ACEPI initiative. "I participated with lot of expectation, because, in my opinion, nowadays whoever has a business, can’t be disregarded from the digital world and it was a good opportunity to learn more. They also framed us in the digital reality and how the markets are evolving, whether in Portugal , Europe and the World". Apart from this, this manager also says that the Digital Commerce action was fruitful because it recovered some notions and crystallized other teachings, some of which he had already put into practice.

Simão Mateus is proud to say that Cervejaria Norte has a presence on the Internet with a website, that although is simple and not fully developed, which does not concern the entrepreneur, has what is necessary, such as the location of the establishment, contacts and opening hours. "We have the site since the beginning of the company. It is important to be on the Internet, even if it is only for an informative perspective or to satisfy potential customers' research. We noted, and some people tell us, that before visiting us they had already seen the brewery on the net".
