WEBINAR: MOTIVATED YOUNG PEOPLE, COMPETITIVE COMPANIES: THE QUALIFICATION CHALLENGE

The footwear cluster is constantly changing. How can we motivate young people to invest in a professional career in the industry? Is a new work-based learning system an option?

In the next Webinar: Motivated young people, competitive companies: the qualification challenge, which will take place on July 7, at 5 p.m., this will be one of the issues to be addressed.

Adapting companies to current requirements involves motivated and qualified human resources in different areas, specific to this sector. To help companies in this challenge, it was developed a new work-based methodology, in the framework of the ICSAS project, tested in an industrial company and which can bring benefits to all Portuguese footwear companies.

It was also developed a training for tutors and pedagogical material was made available to support internal training in companies, focusing on the productive sectors, cutting, sewing, assembly and finishing.
