UPDATE AGRICULTURAL CENSUS 2019 UNTIL MAY 2020

The Agricultural Census 2019 is underway, aimed at all agricultural holdings of the country. It is a statistical survey, carried out every ten years, which aims to characterize the structure of agricultural holdings, identify productive systems practiced in the last decade and typify the rural population in the agricultural sector.

The National Statistics Institute is the entity responsible for collecting, processing and disseminating the results. The data are collected through a face-to-face interview to the farmer made by properly identified interviewers, being the response to the census mandatory and confidential.

The collaboration of all farmers is essential for the success of this operation!
