TWO IDEAS AWARDED IN THE IDEAS CONTEST PROMOTED BY ALPE

DISTINCTION 

The Local Agency for Employment (ALPE) promoted a contest and bootcamp as a launching pad for the incubation of ideas. Two entrepreneurs stood out with innovative projects, conquering monetary prizes and incubation in the Feirapark.

There were two distinguished entrepreneurs: Mónica Oliveira with a shared kitchen idea and Juliana Vieira with a project in the sector of vegan footwear. The first received a monetary prize of € 500 from the ALPE Entrepreneurship Fund, and both were awarded a 6-month incubation at the Feirapark. All the projects presented in the bootcamp will benefit from mentoring for the development and promotion in the social networks of the Project Biz Entrepreneur and Rights & Challenges, both promoted by ALPE. Bootcamp emerged as a follow-up to the Business Ideas Contest, promoted by the Local Agency for Employment (ALPE), counting on with a mentoring model based on the agency's technical team, invited facilitators and mentors. The objective was to incubate ideas with economic potential, allowing the participation of 12 projects in a program of development of entrepreneurship skills and contributing to the design of new concepts, definition of business models and preparation of presentations with impact.
