PONTUAL: SOLUTIONS FROM LEGAL AREA TO VETERINARY MEDICINE

It all started in Porto, 26 years ago. Today, Pontual is a company organized into eight business units, which wants to help to create the "companies of the future”. 

More than a quarter of a century "betting on the evolution of the solutions, looking at the clients’ needs, understanding their difficulties, and offering them a success horizon designed for the reality of their organization”, says António Teixeira, CEO of Pontual Software Solutions, makes Pontual today with more than 70 employees, more than 1800 active clients and a turnover superior to three million euros in 2018. The goal for 2019 is to reach 3.7 million in revenue. It is present in three countries besides Portugal: Spain, China and Brazil. 

The headquarters are today in Santa Maria da Feira and there are subsidiaries in Lisbon, Porto and Viseu, a delegation in São Paulo and a distributor in Macau. In 2019 it was already possible "to accomplish one of the goals”: to create the company Pontual España "with facilities and team in Barcelona”, improving "the market presence of some o0f our products” and starting "the internationalization of others”. 

In 2011, Pontual headquarters moved from Porto to Santa Maria da Feira. Four years later, SISINFO was acquired by Pontual and in 2017 it happens the fusion with UpandWay. In 2019, it also merged with RemoteLeg, Ancátima Softwares, AbleWin and AbleTrust.

Partnerships with entities such as Watchguard, Kaspersky, StorageCraft, Microsoft, Sophos, ou Endpoint Protector, Pontual has in its portfolio solutions from Primavera, Sage, PHC CS, Wintouch, Avance and Sysdev MSS. In terms of its own solutions, there are four: ToBeFlow, JurisFlow, Lémure and GuruVet. 

According to António Teixeira, "ToBeFlow allows organiztions to have a global view of their own business processes through CRM, BPM and Document Management features, with full integration with ERP system”; JurisFlow is, in turn, "thought to manage the processes inherent in the routine of legal professional and companies, making them more productive and organized”; and the Lémure solution facilitate the "business management for micro and small companies, at any sector of its business, invoicing, current accounts, stocks and treasury”. GuruVet, is simply "a management software for the medical-veterinarian industry, which allows the management of all areas of the veterinary center (administrative, financial and clinical) in a unique application”. 

António Teixeira explains that the company enhance "the existing ERP solutions in each client, producing complements – add-ons – which respond to the specific needs of a client or sector of activity”, so increasing "the efficiency of existing solutions, promoting the extensibility of them” – solutions for storekeepers, slaes teams, logistics’ managers, the pharmaceutic industry or gas stations are among the Pontual’s portfolio of add-ons.

Solutions and servers at Cloud, Monitoring Systems, TI Security and Support to the companies’ informatics park are some of the guarantees of this Partner. 

Lendarius Digital Agency also integrates Pontual group. It assumes as a digital agency that helps clients to discover "new ways to achieve, grow, manage or expand their businesses” digitally. It operates in areas of Digital Marketing, Web Development, E-commerce and Communication Design. 

At the same time, and "in order to provide a focused and assertive answer to each type of client”, the group is organized into eight business units and "each unit has a team exclusively focused on the implementation and support to the marketed solutions in that business area”. These areas are the PHC Software Unit; the Primavera Software Unit; the SAGE Software Unit; the Software Engineering Unit; the Veterinarian Software Unit; the Legal Software Unit; the Systems and Managed Services Unit; and the E-commerce and Web Solutions Unit.
