PINGO DOCE SANTA MARIA DA FEIRA

Pingo Doce in Santa Maria da Feira was one of the first 15 houses to obtain the certification of Fogaça de Santa Maria da Feira, awarded on May 22, 2018.

The hypermarket always tried to "follow this process closely", and the obtaining of the seal reflected in the sales of the house. "The fact that we have the certification reflected in sales. Whether we like it or not, there are always those who think that street / traditional pastry is more valuable than a hypermarket one. However, over time, we managed to bridge this prejudice, and with the certification, a drastic change was really noted. And it proved, of course, that the consumer changes his mind. He notes that it is a product as good as the remaining houses”, says Cristina Paiva, responsible for the Pastry section.
