NAJHA in the USA at the invitation of the Embassy
Daniela Sá was invited by the US Government through its embassy in Portugal to visit the country and to share her vision of innovation for the fashion sector with US industries
This program, called "International Visitor Leadership Program - Design Entrepreneurship and Innovation", aims to connect the two countries, and Daniela Sá will be able to observe the factors that lead to America's Innovative Design environment, to gather synergies in order to aggregate innovative design concepts and to explore the latest trends in new technologies. The latter is of great interest for the designer from Fiães, who has been developing a new passion for new technologies, and is devising ways to apply them in the sector.
During her 15-day stay in Washington, Ohio, Nevada, and Michigan, Daniela will enjoy a number of experiences, ranging from visiting companies from various sectors, to dining with a local family, as well as joining a volunteering project.
Some well-known Portuguese institutions will accompany her, like APICCAPS (Portuguese Association of Footwear Industry), ANJE (National Association of Young Entrepreneurs), StartUp Portugal, Instituto Politécnico do Porto and the Vicara design company.
So one can say that the sector and municipality will be represented by NAJHA - Daniela Sá on this trip. In the past, some of Portugal's leaders have taken part in this program, like Cavaco Silva and António Guterres, among others.
