Lusopark can generate up to 2500 jobs before 2020

The urbanization works in the Lusopark venture have been completed and the inaugural visit took place last Monday. An "area that has been abandoned for years and has now been requalified and transformed into an industrial attraction pole," the City Council said.

The requalification of the land next to the Europarque resulted from a signed agreement between the City Council, the Business Association of Portugal and Grupo Ferreira. The lots available have a total area of around 382,000 sq. metres and 54% of the batches have already been hired. The first phase of the project is finished, and this undertaking is endowed with the infrastructures "of the last generation" as regards fibre optics.
