LUSOCAL – FOOTWEAR COMPONENTS, S.A.

The sector of Manufacturing footwear components (CAE 15202) is led by Lusocal - Footwear Components, S.A, which occupies the position 331 of the ranking of the 1,500 largest companies of the district of Aveiro. 

The company located in Santa Maria da Feira and, in 2018 employed 80 people, had a turnover of 10.03 million euros in that year, a value 4.92% inferior than 10.55 million euros that had been invoiced the previous year.

The drop was more significant in profits, once that from the 1.93 million euros of net income realized in 2017, Lusocal registered 1.26 million euros the following year, reflecting a decrease of 34.59% in this indicator.

As for GVA, the fall was of 17.56%, since of the 4.75 million euros obtained in 2017, the company registered 3.92 million euros in 2018.

The second place of the podium is held by Soprefa Industrial Components, S.A., also from Santa Maria da Feira, which in 2018 had a turnover of 9.64 million euros, a net result of 380.72 thousand euros and a GVA of 2.56 million euros. In the third position is Siaco - Industrial and Commercial Society of Footwear items, S.A., from S. João da Madeira, which, in the year under review, had a turnover of 4.98 million euros, a negative net result of 593.29 thousand euros and a GVA of 2.11 million euros.
