GOVERNMENT SUPPORTS NATIONAL PRODUCTION OF GOODS AND SERVICES TO COMBAT COVID-19
Government supports national production of goods and services to combat Covid-19. According to information from the Government, there were opened new tenders in the incentive system in Portugal 2020 in order to quickly support, and in lose funds, national companies, entities and national laboratories for the production of medical equipment and devices, tests and personal protective equipment associated to the combat of Covid -19. All regulations and special call notices were published during the weekend of April 18-19, allowing applications to be submitted from April 20 until May 29, through a simplified electronic form, which will be made available at Balcão 2020. It is aimed at companies (SMEs and large companies) of any nature and in any legal form. Applications are open until May 29.
