FREE TIME ACTIVITIES CENTER - PROCEDURES TO BE ADOPTED

The Free Time Activities Center (in Portuguese, CATL) is a social response that provides leisure activities for children and young people from 6 years old on, in the available periods of school responsibilities, developing through different intervention models, namely monitoring / inclusion , practice of specific activities and multi-activities.

Facing its reopening, on June 15, the Directorate-General for Health (DGS) published a guideline with the prevention and control measures to be adopted in the Free Time Activities Centers.

The document states that all establishments that promote free time activities must be properly prepared to deal with suspected cases of Covid-19, as well as to prevent and minimize the transmission of this disease, by activating and updating their Contingency Plans, which should include, for example, the definition of an isolation area.

In this context, we provide the document that can be consulted and can answer your questions.
