The Municipality and AEF promote training course on Digital Economy

The Municipality of Santa Maria da Feira and the Business Association of the Municipality of Santa Maria da Feira (AEF) came together to promote a training course on Digital Economy, for the owners and managers of the restaurant and catering units in the municipality of Santa Maria da Feira.

The initiative is part of the Municipality's commitment to ‘Gastronomic Tourism’ and starts at the end of November. "A completely free course for companies and personalized according to their needs and specificities, after an individual diagnosis to each entity, aiming at a higher qualification in terms of digital projection, which is increasingly important nowadays", explains Municipality .

Considering that "the economy and digital promotion play a pivotal role in the communication of the restaurant and catering units, as well as in the profitability and sustainability of the business", the goal of the 'Digital Economy' training course is the acquisition of critical and essential information on digitization and enhancement of online sales, as well as the promotion and communication on social networks, in order to stimulate business and attract new visitors and consumers, according to the new trends in consumption habits.

Companies interested in this consulting can register at the Interactive Tourism Store or through the Business Association of the Municipality of Santa Maria da Feira until November 16, and must complete the application form provided and send the mandatory documents, such as the IRS or IES 2019 declaration and the Social Security and Finance non-debt certificates.
