EMÍDIO SOUSA VISITS PBLEGIO

The Mayor of Santa Maria da Feira, Emídio Sousa, visited the company PBLegio – of the sector of outdoor advertising – in the framework of the program of internships Erasmus +. The Municipality supports the internships through the provision of space and tutor in the work places, being the responsibility of Lycée D’Arsonval the food, stay and insurance, for which it annually has an application to the program Erasmus +.

PBLégio, a company working in Lusopark, is one of the most recent entities to join this initiative, hosting a trainee in the area of signage and outdoor advertising. The initiative started in 2009 at the event ENE Feiras at Europarque, as a result of a contact through the twin city of Joué-Lès-Tours, establishing a partnership between the Lycée DArsonval and the City Hall that allowed the reception, until today, of 32 trainees in the areas of graphic design, advertising and outdoor signage and in the area of interior decoration.

In a statement, the City Hall emphasizes that "the reception of the trainees aims the acquisition of skills in the workplace in Portugal, facilitating the insertion of young people in the labor market, as well as knowing and applying the graphic rules used by the City Hall of Santa Maria da Feira and by the municipal company Feira Viva, from the entry of the project until its conclusion”.
