COVID-19 ECONOMY SUPPORT LINE - TRAVEL AGENCIES AND TOUR OPERATORS

Applications for the new COVID-19 Economy Support Line are underway with the objective of supporting the Travel Agencies and Tour Operators sector, created by Turismo de Portugal, in partnership with Banco Português de Fomento (BPF).

This line has a total value of 100 million euros, and it is a Credit Line to support the treasury, which aims to help in the recovery of one of the activities most affected by the effects of the COVID-19 pandemic. It is translated into bank loans exclusively to finance the treasury needs of Travel Agencies and Tour Operators, in view of the obligation to reimburse trips that were not made or were canceled due to the pandemic context.

It should be noted that the amounts to be reimbursed must be proven through a certified accountant / ROC statement with identification of travel vouchers (travel agencies) and travel vouchers (tour operators).
