COVID 19 - APOIAR.PT
The Program APOIAR is an instrument to support the treasury of micro and small companies, which operate in sectors particularly affected by containment measures, guaranteeing and preserving their liquidity in the market and the continuity of its economic activity during and after the pandemic outbreak. The measures created in the framework of the Program APOIAR are called APOIAR.PT and APOIAR RESTAURAÇÃO.
This program has been available since November 25 and provides for an allocation of 750 million euros in non-refundable funds for micro and small companies in the sectors of commerce, restaurants, cultural activities and accommodation that have suffered billing losses greater than 25 % in year-on-year terms.
Taking this situation into consideration, we prepared a note with the description of the criteria, so that companies may apply through Balcão 2020, as well as the amounts that will be available for that purpose. In this note, we try to explain the new financial support to certain sectors of activity, from a macro perspective (apoiar.pt), specifying support for the Restaurant Sector, one of the sectors most affected by this pandemic situation.
