CORK PERIODIC TABLE GETS HONORABLE MENTION

The work organized by the graduates of the Cincork’s Technical Maintenance Course of Industrial Maintenance of Metallurgy and metal mechanic, named Cork Periodic Table, got an honorable mention from the jury of the contest "Periodic Table: beyond 150 years”.

The ceremony of the delivery of the awards and Honorable Mentions took place on 26th July during the XXVI National Meeting of the Portuguese Chemistry Society, at the Faculty of Sciences of the University of Porto. In order to mark the 150th anniversary of the creation of the structure of the Periodic Table, the Faculty of Sciences of the University of Porto (FCUP), Department of Chemistry and Biochemistry, Faculty of Engineering of the University of Porto (FEUP), Department of Chemical Engineering and the Porto Superior Institute of Engineering   (ISEP), Department of Chemical Engineering, invited the entire educational community to participate, having registered 43 registrations. All works will be in exhibition between September and December 2019.

It took place at the Cincork’s Auditorium, on 26 July, the ceremony of the delivery of the certificates to the 19 graduates who had successfully completed the respective training process of double certification, school and professional, of Sales Technician in the Adult Education and Formative modality. The meeting was attended by the representative of the Councilor for Education, Sport and Youth of the City Hall of Santa Maria da Feira, Rui Pais, and the president of the Parish Council of Santa Maria de Lamas, Lucídio Dias, as well as trainers, family members and friends of the recent graduates.
