CHRISTMAS IN THE MARKET - APPLICATIONS UNTIL NOVEMBER 2
Considering the strategic intention of the Municipality to qualify the visit and living experience of the Historic Centre of Santa Maria da Feira, during a celebrating period during which thousands of residents and thousands of national and international visitors travel to Perlim – Christmas Theme Park, we launched the Consultation Program and Regulation of Participation in "CHRISTMAS IN THE MARKET".
In this context, the emblematic Municipal Market of Santa Maria da Feira, signed by the Architect Fernando Távora, and considered a reference in the traditional Portuguese architecture and classified monument of public interest, will host, during December, temporary spaces of restoration or drinks, trading spaces of food and of urban crafts, traditional crafts, design and vintage products framed in the spirit of the celebration of the Christmas season.
CHRISTMAS IN THE MARKET intends to give space to the typical flavours of Christmas (from Santa Maria da Feira, Portugal and the World), in particular to the gastronomy and sweets, hot drinks, agri-food products, as well as urban and traditional handicraft products such as cribs, fashion, jewelery, decoration, toys, among others.
At the same time, the Municipality will promote an animation of the space with artistic contents, always under the Christmas theme ...
