BEPPI AND BLUE SEVEN CREATE A NEW WORLD CONCEPT FOR CHILDREN'S FASHION

It is a new concept of children's fashion in the same space. Portuguese company Beppi and German textile company Blue Seven joined themselves to develop Beppi Blue, a chain of stores that is expected to open doors in various parts of the world in the first half of 2021.

"The idea came about when we detected a gap in the market. Worldwide there is no unity between textiles and children's shoes. That was how the Beppi Blue project was born: they will be very cute and disruptive stores that will unite the garments of the German brand to our footwear”, explains Hugo Silva, commercial director of the Portuguese brand.

The concept, which will be based on a simple franchising model, has already been completed, and the process of attracting customers has now begun. "At the moment, we have already people interested in opening these stores in Estoril, Madeira and also in Lourinhã and we are working online with customers from Romania and Tunisia”, continues Hugo Silva.

Despite the pandemic had slowed the progress of the Beppi Blue store project, the commercial director of the Portuguese brand believes that "in bad years very good opportunities may arise" and that is why, with hope, he believes that in 2021 the stores are already fully functioning.

"Our expectation is that even in the first half of 2021 we already have some Beppi Blue stores in operation inside and outside Portugal, because, being very uncomplicated, the franchising process is very attractive”, he concludes.

Owned by Planitoi, a company based in Espargo, Santa Maria da Feira, Beppi is a Portuguese brand specialized in children's shoes and is already present in markets such as France, Spain and Germany.
