ARTISTIC TOWN TWINNING JOINS SANTA MARIA DA FEIRA AND JOUÉ-LÈS-TOURS

The twin Municipalities of Santa Maria da Feira and Joué-Lès-Tours, in France, have opened applications for a multidisciplinary artistic co-creation, coordinated and directed by a professional from Santa Maria da Feira and another from the Metropolitan Area of Tours.

It will be a joint work, which will involve professional and amateurs artists, as well as the populations of each of the territories, highlighting, under the theme "Myth”, the collective identities, history, memory, daily life, popular culture and counter-culture.

Until September 30, proposals will be accepted from creators and with the following requirements: be a professional from performing arts; have residence in the respective territories; have experience in the implementation of multidisciplinary artistic creations; have academic or professional training in staging and directing artistic projects; be interested in collective projects that bring together different disciplines, cultures, generations, publics; and be inspired by the theme "Myth”, as well as issues related to history, identity, heritage and culture.

They should be sent for the "e-mails” programacao@imaginarius.pt and coordination@le37e.fr , followed by a letter of intent, defining the candidate’s motivation towards the project; and artistic curriculum, proving the artistic and professional experience in the area.
