Amorim Cork payed three million for French company Sodiliége

Amorim Cork announced today that it has completed the acquisition of the capital stock of French company Sodiliège, in a transaction amounting to three million euros, according to a note sent to the Securities and Exchange Commission (CMVM).
 
In the note disclosed, the company states that "it has completed the acquisition of 100% of Sodiliège's capital stock, and has also undertaken to acquire the manufacturing and administrative facilities" where the French company operates.
 
"Through this operation, Amorim Cork is acquiring an established company in the important cognac production field, with a portfolio of products recognized for its quality and consistency and a portfolio of outstanding clients in the spirits production segment," Amorim concluded.
 
Sodiliège is located in Merpins, France, has a team of 12 employees and devotes itself to the production and distribution of capsules for alcoholic beverages and spirits.
 
In 2016, the French company had a turnover of 3.2 million euros.
