Roselene Silva Pires de Boaventura
She is currently an entrepreneur in the beverage business, and owns a store in Rio de Janeiro (water, soft drinks, juices, beer and ice).
Granddaughter of Luís Ferreira da Silva, one of the founders of Casa da Vila da Feira e Terras de Santa Maria and of the Almeida Garrett Folklore Group, associativism is part of her identity, and her activity perpetuates the liveliness of Feira's culture. She has been a member of the Casa da Vila da Feira e Terras de Santa Maria since her birth.
In 2005 she became Vice President for Culture at the Casa da Vila da Feira e Terras de Santa Maria. She is since August 2007 the First Lady of the same institution alongside President Ernesto Boaventura.
Since 2008, she has been the rehearser for the Danças e Cantares Children and Youth Folklore Group, of which she was member as a child.
She received the trophy for best dancer in 2003 and First Lady of the Portuguese community in 2008 and 2011.
Since 2009 she has been the Artistic Director of the 2 folklore groups at the Casa. In this context, she organized the trip of the Almeida Garrett Folklore Group to Portugal in 2012, made up of 40 people.
Together with Dr. Sérgio Viana, she is the editor of Boletim Informativo Feirense, which is published quarterly.
Since 1998, she has been the "alma-mater" of the Portuguese community in Rio de Janeiro at the Real Gabinete Português de Leitura - the oldest and most representative Portuguese-Brazilian association in Brazil and the first to be founded, 15 years after the independence of Brazil
