Luís Palheta

A lawyer in the department of Indre et Loire (France), specialist in Labor Law and professor at the University of Tours, he teaches Civil Law, Commercial Law and Labour Law.

The Municipality of Porto awarded him the Medal of Municipal Merit "for the services rendered to the Porto region", i.e. for having been one of the main drivers behind the creation of the air connection between Tours and Porto.

He also promoted the creation of an association of entrepreneurs of Portuguese origin operating in Tours, the 'Portuguese Business Club', which aims to intensify economic relations between Touraine companies and Portuguese-speaking companies.

As Consul, he is in charge of representing Portugal in all cultural, economic and other events for which he may be invited, with special emphasis on the economic issue and the development of exchanges between the two countries.
